As the most famous graffiti artist in Korea, ARTIME JOE brings graffiti to the traditional canvas and constantly explores more new materials. The series works of the artist in this exhibition are mostly created with the well-known cartoon characters, movie heroes and popular music of the 1990s as the elements, and these heroes are displayed in another form with their own unique graffiti style. The spirit of challenging the tradition and shaping the self through free creative techniques hides a personal feeling of advocating freedom, pursuing happiness and not being confined to form, which is more in line with the inner vision of the public. The bold and dynamic streets, as well as the fresh paint smell, will help you break the barrier between the streets and traditional art, and also let the audience see the changes of the world through art.

As a graffiti artist, ARTIME JOE has had in-depth cooperation with Nike, Samsung, Disney and other brands, and served as the image spokesperson of niek air. He also cooperated with exo, the most popular music group in South Korea, to create hand-painted graffiti shoes for the band. Around the theme of Nike, artists have created many graffiti, paintings, installations and other works.
